The train network in this country is an extensive one that offers members of the public the opportunity to get from one end of the country to the other with relative ease and in the comfortable surroundings of a modern train.

Although our trains are not the fastest trains available across Europe there is an effort to rectify this with further train line extensions being specifically built for the use of tilting trains that can travel at extremely high speeds and thus cut down on travel times for direct travel routes across the UK.

Split into regions and operated by a number of rail providers the UK’s network of tracks is regulated by the ORR,  Office Of Rail Regulation, who are the independent safety and economic regulator for Britians railways.
