Buses and coaches operate across the UK allowing people to travel either short distances around their local, area stopping off at points of interest, or long journeys across the country from City to City.

The bus network in London has always played a massive part in getting people to and from work, even more so now since the congestion charge was applied, and the iconic Red London bus is as famous world wide as the yellow New York Taxi.

Coaches in the UK tend to be used for longer journeys as they are larger so can carry more passengers and they are harder to negotiate around small towns and villages. It is not as fast to travel by Coach as it is by Train as you come up against the problems of traffic congestion but this method of travel is extremely cost effective.
